- What is included in this itinerary?
- Seven nights at Kwarleyz Residence Hotel & Suites in a Two-Bedroom Apartment with breakfast, daily breakfast, one welcome dinner in Accra and one lunch at Cape Coast, airport transfers and transfers between locations (Accra ↔ Cape Coast), full concierge services, every tour and guide in the itinerary, the naming ceremony with your kente strip, the drumming lesson, and the batik workshop. All-day on-call transport is not included — for personal routes you can book an Uber or taxi.
- Are international flights included?
- No — flights are not included. The flights shown here are your selected options with confirmation details for easy check-in. We can arrange and book flights separately upon request.
- Where will we stay in Accra?
- Kwarleyz Residence Hotel & Suites, in Accra's Airport Residential area, minutes from Kotoka International Airport. You'll be in a Two-Bedroom Apartment with breakfast included, free WiFi, a full kitchen, air conditioning, and access to a full-service spa. Confirmation 2567970175.
- And on the coast?
- The coast is a full day — Assin Manso Slave River and the Cape Coast Slave Castle, with a quiet lunch on the coast — and we return to Kwarleyz Residence Hotel & Suites in Accra that evening.
- What's the sleeping arrangement for three travelers?
- The Two-Bedroom Apartment sleeps three comfortably — Ebony, Stacie, and Donald — with a shared lounge and full kitchen. Bedding configuration is arranged by the residence.
- What does 'full concierge' actually mean?
- A real person on the ground in Accra handling restaurant bookings, shopping runs, last-minute requests, special dietary needs, and anything the itinerary doesn't cover. You text, we move.
- What about meals beyond what's included?
- Daily breakfast, one welcome dinner in Accra, and one lunch at Cape Coast are taken care of. For everything else — including lunch at the beach on shopping day — your concierge will have reservations and recommendations ready, from street-side grills to the city's finest tables.
- Is this trip physically demanding?
- No. The pace is built around an elder traveler — comfortable mornings, private vehicles, no long walks without breaks. The castle involves some stairs; we'll plan around that.
- Do we need visas or vaccinations?
- U.S. travelers need a Ghana visa (we'll guide you through the e-visa process) and proof of yellow fever vaccination. We send a full pre-departure briefing once booked.
